Women empowerment is a serious issue in a patriarchal society. This is especially true in areas where education and information are lacking. Instances of woman’s rights suppression and the abuse of women are rampant here.

We often find that in the face of information about the measures that can be taken in case of women right suppression, a wave of empowerment is seen. And the Relief and Build Asia Foundation has been trying to educate both women and men about this aspect.

It is a misconceived notion that women are the weaker sex. In today’s world, both men and women have an equal stand. And this will be achieved only through the proper education of women’s rights. When all women rise up against the abuse and crime meted out to them, only then will women empowerment take place.
